East Coast

Has it really been almost two years since I’ve been on an airplane?! Well with vaccines being rolled out, it seemed semi-safe traveling again so off to the east coast I went. First stop, Boston. I’ve been to Boston once several years ago, and I remember loving the city- the business of a big city with a lot of history but also with a modern feel. This time around, it was cool, but I enjoyed the food more. Lobstah, even though they all came from Maine. Oh, and shoutout to Omni Parker Hotel. Stayed there last time and the service was super nice, and we went back to say hi and they gave us a free book, recipes, and water. I’ll take those freebies!

Next off was Lincoln, New Hampshire to witness fall colors. Now I’m from the west coast, so this was a very exciting and rare moment for me to see so many trees and so many trees changing colors. Wow I was blown away, it was so scenic!! White Mountains is beautiful and hands down the best part about the trip. I would’ve been happy staying here for the entire week!

Then checked out Hamden, CT to partake in some fall activities which included apple picking and making apple pie. It has been a while since I’ve gone apple picking so that was fun and making an apple pie was easier than I thought! And very delicious. Also got to check out the coastline which was nice. We were close to Yale, and the campus is beautiful!! I liked it way better than Harvard and wished I was rich and smart enough to attend school there.

Now we’re in New York, New York!! Of course did all the touristy stuff which included Statue of Liberty, Chinatown, Time Square, and NYSE. So much walking, ppl in NYC must be super skinny and fit. Shoutout to the nice lady who bought us boba in Chinatown!! Ended the trip by visiting the MET. That place was humongous. I guess they got some nice paintings there.

Rosarito

I always felt it was a very San Diego thing to make a day trip to Rosarito. So, I was very excited for this trip, mainly because I haven’t gone anywhere in over a year! The trip consisted of shopping, eating, and more eating at Rosarito Beach.

I was very surprised by how delicious the food was! The seafood was so fresh and amazing, I could eat there all day! It definitely helped having someone who knew the area and restaurants well. Hoping to go back soon to try some lobster at Puerto Nuevo!!
